The Renaissance house
Sites & History > Uffholtz

The house was built in 1594 by the provost marshal of Uffholtz who engraved his initials on it. The main door is an arch sculpted with human and plant figures and the “porte cochere” is adorned by the pruning knife and the plowshare. Those are symbols of the winemaker.
