The Hartmanswillerkopf battelfield

The headland of the Vosgien massif was one of the main strategic points during the battles on the Vosges front between 1914 and 1918.
The fortifications and military equipments remain impressive. Registered historical monument since 1912, the Harmannswillerkopf is a place for memory.

The crypt and Museum are opened from the beginning of April to the 11th of November: 8am – 12am and 2pm – 6pm

Entrance fee :  Single person: 2€, group rate: 1, 50 € per person. Free entrance for children under 14.

The Tourist board offers visits of the battle field with a guide.
Free guided visits every Wednesdays at 2.30 pm in July and August.

It is possible to organize guided paying visits for groups from Easter to the 15th November.
Entrance fee: 62€ for a group with less than 40 persons Information and booking: 00 33 3 89 75 50 35.
