Uffholtz' historical heritage
Sites & History > Uffholtz

Located at the beginning of the Peaks Road and the Vine Route the town of Uffholtz was destroyed during the 1914 – 1918 war. The village keeps nevertheless an interesting architectural patrimony with some Renaissance houses, the neo-classic church Saint Erasme and the ruins of the Herrenfluh castle. Its vineyard considerably modernized and wide is worthy of its millennium past.
